We provide your bent profiles with a label. This is done using our label printer and takes place early in the process: before the coating. A double laminate layer will be placed over the printed label to make the label perfectly resistant to the coating.
Does the profile require a certain position, for example, in a window structure? We will place an additional label with the same number in both the external frame and the glass slat. This ensures that the installers can quickly determine which glass slat must be placed at which location in the window structure. This prevents time wasted on figuring things out.
We will always place the label at a fixed location. The label will be in the centre of the bent section of a window profile, the invisible side. A glass slat will have the label in the centre on the invisible side. What about a different profile or project? In this case, we will discuss the placement of the label with you.
Each label will also show a number of basic details: the order number of your BestBend profile, the job sheet, and your own reference. This ensures that the profiles can be traced at all times.
Traceability is essential if your profiles are part of a serial production run. Did you order 500 items in 1 series, for example? The traceability label makes it easy to determine which profiles belong to the batch in question.
