Aluminium window frames for the Oosteroever development project
The Versluys real estate and construction group is breathing new life into Oosteroever, a former industrial port zone in Ostend, through the Oosteroever development project. One Baelskaai, developed by Binst Architects, is the definite eye-catcher of this site in terms of architectural design.
"The façade reflects the character of the site, the port area and the coast," says Luc Binst of Binst Architects. "With their expressive edges, the terraces give the complex a unique look and maritime character. The building's undulations go along with the undulating character of the nearby dune landscape and the sea. Undulating continuous glass balustrades reflect light, air and water."
BestBend was commissioned by Ramen Van Tomme to bend the aluminium window frames for this building. The bent window frames extend all the way to 2 metres in width and 3.2 metres in height!
